Hello, I am interested! I'll try this out on PC when I get a chance, but I must say that both the men and the concept look delicious!

Did you ever find out if there is a way to do this?

Nope, I have encountered nothing resembling a turn limit. I've selected pretty much every option I can find, revisited locations (and replayed scenes), and as far as I can tell gone through every part of Rajit... And never has a limit been placed on me.

If there is a turn/time limit, it's very generously large.

Ah, that would be it. I may have re-loaded after talking to Lothar the first time, because it seemed like I spilled the beans. And I didn't want Lothar... going after... the goats. I see the problem, now, thank you!

The only limit is your imagination Limit Breaks

Yeah, it's in there. Not sure what the requirements are, other than major corruption (and possibly a level minimum).

I was completing Chasing Shadows and spoke to Bruno for the first time. I had my Moon Charm equipped, and my character said "I don't have it anymore."

One reload and unequip later, things are working fine. Might I suggest ensuring the game detects if the Moon Charm is equipped?

So uh... I'm on Day 28 and have completed quite a few quests... But Lothar has not said anything about the Goat Tribe. I also have no idea where the Damp Cave is, but I assume that's somehow connected. Anything I need to do to trigger Lothar's quest?

Oh, right. Addressing you original question: You don't have to actually get 10,000. The merchant mentions that he will cover most of it, and pull on other village leaders to cough up as well. I don't remember your actual total, but you don't need 10,000 by yourself.

You can befriend a crow at one point. (Not a crow-person. A literal crow.) It gives you one singular free gold whenever you interact with it thereafter.
